The Watcher Wins Chanticleer Award for Best Paranormal

This fall, The Watcher won the “Paranormal Grand Prize” at the Chanticleer Paranormal Awards for supernatural fiction, sponsored by Chanticleer Reviews.

Each work submitted was judged on the following criteria:ribbon

  • Is the story compelling?
  • Professionalism of editing and formatting
  • Characterization
  • Continuity of storyline
  • Satisfying ending (not necessarily “happy”)
  • Intriguing opening
  • Uniqueness of story
  • Writing craft
  • World construct
  • Premise

The Watcher was a First Place Category Winner  and made it through seven rounds of judging before being chosen for the Grand Prize.

The Watcher is first in a series. The sequel – The Angel Killer – is in edits now for release before the end of the year. The cover reveal is coming in mid-November.
