About Me

Hi,

Thanks for stopping by!

As you’ve probably guessed, I’m a writer and author of young adult fiction. In my spare time, I lead a writing group for teens in my home town of North Vancouver, Canada. I’m also a certified teacher of some awesome meditation classes with the Training in Power Academy. My 15 years of metaphysical study piqued an interest in angels and demons that only writing about them could satisfy.

On a more personal note, I was born and raised in rainy Vancouver, Canada, but I’ve also lived in Toronto and Calgary. I’m a coffee lover and a compulsive tea buyer. In my spare time, I try to get outside into the mountains. On rainy days (did I mention it rains a lot here?), I’ve been known to binge watch TV and am totally hooked on Supernatural, Game of Thrones, Reign (total guilty pleasure), and Doctor Who.

I’m available for speaking engagements and workshops at schools, libraries, and community organizations. More about the courses and workshops I offer is available at: http://www.scbwi.org/speakers/lisa-voisin.

My debut YA novel, The Watcher, was published in 2013 by Inkspell Publishing. The second book, The Angel Killer, released in 2015. The third book, The Warrior Prophet, released on April 13, 2016.

This is rather funny, I came to your blog on the #AtoZ Road Trip, thinking – hahahaha – I would start with participants to the Trip! But of course you were not in the challenge as far as I can see. What a twit I am… Nonetheless, a pleasure to meet you here Lisa…

    Hi there,
I’m interested in your group for teens in North Vancouver for my daughter.
Could you send me an email with the info?
    Thanks so much!
